Placing my 80 year old mother in a nursing home where they can take care of her 24 hours a day...
I couldn't care for her in my home myself, because I am disabled and can't pick her up if she were to fall...
I also cannot clean up after her all day, and cook for her 3 times a day...
I am also not able to bathe her every day...
She has Alzheimer's and is unable to care for herself...
It was very difficult to see my mom go downhill like that...
She used to be so strong and able-bodied...
Seeing her like this is killing me inside...
