nano or shuffle?

nano waaaay better. You may think that you dont really need a lot of songs and 99 is enough but trust me, when you actually get it 99 songs won't be nearly enough. plus the shuffle doesnt have a screen..

Well, the basic funcationality is pretty much the same (there's no difference in audio output), so it comes down to the extras.The shuffle is very basic. You have two modes (shuffle and original playlist), a play button and track control. The nano has that plus the menu options, plus 2 hour longer battery life. And the upcharge is only $50 for the 1GB models.

The nano... not even a choice really. Shuffle is cheaper, but if you're able to get the nano, get it.

30gig, shuffle is approximately 100 songs $100, nano is 1000 songs, $200, 30 gig is 7,500 songs+videos and pictures, and is $300. so economically you get WAY more storage per $ spent if you get a 30 gig than a shuffle or nano. Thats what sold me:)

nano is way better....i have a nano and my friend has a shuffle and he asks me to help putting songs in and it is really hard because you can't see what songs went in and if all of them got uploaded or not and worst part you can't pick your songs...

Nano. Holds more, has a screen that tells you what is playing.

with the nano you can see a display and pick your songs with the shuffle its random play you can not pick the song you want to hear !
