Because they want to get away from being pestered by phone messages wherever they go and, perhaps, want the phone stolen out of the car to solve the problem once and for all :o)

I believe you know. They do not want to answer the phone! Or the boozy bender they are on has found them in a hotel room with some other woman and they are predisposed!

Ignore. And it depends on the person. Like my mom almost always forgets her phone, but that's on accident.

Maybe they are too busy? Or just don't want to talk with anyone? Don't take it personally. If it happens often, I would say you need to consider that you are pestering them. Back off.

perhaps they just genuinely forgot it.
my battery ran down today and was down for about 5 hours...when i put it back on i had 3 missed calls and 2 texts. did they think the same about me?
