I recently read that the band is taking a hiatus for an unknown length of time. Serj has his own record label and is working on some collaborations and solo stuff of various music styles. Daron is working with a band called Scars on Broadway, debut album being released in the fall. Shavo may also be a part of Scars, but he is also doing work with Wu -Tang. John is opening up an Online Comic Book Store.
Although they are doing different things. They stressed that they are NOT breaking up, just on break for the time being. Their final show before the hiatus is Aug 13 in Florida.
I would have to say my favorite song right now is Revenga or Soldier's Side

I love the first two albums... They are totally good stuff. This new Mezmerize/Hypnotize stuff is not very good though. There are a few good tracks, but man I have to tell you that 'Lonely Day' song makes me want to punch that Daron guy in the face. What happened to him anyway? How do you go from writing song like 'I had an out of body experience the other day her name was Jesus, and for her everyone cried, everyone cried, everyone criiieed!' To 'The most loneliest day of my liiiiifee.' Terrible. But I still enjoy them, especially all of Toxicity. Cheers!

they are heading the ozz fest along with disturbed etc.. i saw an interview with serj lead singer and they are going to take some time off so nothing new for a while. my favorite son is ego brain from steal this album. is system of a down.
