My pet peeves are "theocracies," the entrenched two-party system in America, the electoral college, the ever-present plethora of political cronies & their blatently corrupt practices together with the lobbyist industry emmeshed into Capitol Hill's "business." In addition, the lack of "election reform" that's been given 'lip-service' but is probably only going to be given a toothless 'fix,' to stave off the anger from the American public.
I've got strong opinions on all these and even as to what should be done but if you care to find out, you can peruse my answers to the questions I engaged at Yahoo! over the past two weeks.

1 when people put their legs up in a movie theatre, i wouldnt want to be seen with them
2 when someone hums to a song on the radio really loud. it bugs me, just sing it dangit!
surprisingly i have developed these pet peeves in te last 2 years
who thought up to call it a pet peeve????

my #1 pet peeve is when someone talks during a movie. it just drives me insane!!

(1) people that are able to work but instead sit at home and collect welfare. My tax dollars are paying for you to sit at home and watch maury povich.
(2) people that drive cars that resemble and sound like fast and the furious cars. People please grow up your not going to be a race car driver I understand that it is cool but the noise the tailpipe sounds like a high performance lawnmower.
(3) People that publicly grope each other in public
(4) foul mouth kids
(5) people that drive below the posted speed limit

People who never ask you any questions during conversation. For instance, I rarely see my sister-in-law, but when I do, she'll never ask me how I am, or what I've been doing, NEVER! I find that so annoying. I've gotten to the point where I've stopped asking her, too, because I just don't care anymore.

Cell phone rudeness. Not being rude to the party you are talking to but the rest of us who do not care to hear about your private life.

Men's armpit hair, if we have to shave it then they should too!
And in the same respect, fat men who walk around with out a shirt, if you've got man boobs then keep the shirt on! Woman wear shirts to cover their boobs and you should too!
