Of course it is a horrendous injustice; just like 9/11 was a horrendous injustice to the American people. But 2 wrongs don't make a right - they just sow the seeds of continuing hatred. As long as politicians - from Bin Laden to Bush - can persuade people to support them by pinpointing scapegoats and justifying terrorism (including state sponsored terrorism) in the name of some great cause (islam, democracy, Zionism), we'll go on committing the errors of history, and it is the helpless and innocent who will be the greatest victims.
One might have hoped that the power of western civilisation, media and education would have at last persuaded our leaders that "an eye for an eye" is no solution. Of course most have; it's tragic that the leaders of some of the few that pride themselves on being the most civilised nations on earth, have not.

All views are somewhat biased! Depends how you look at things.
I can never understand, that when someone says something that another disagrees with, they become agressive.
That's life, I guess.
In answer to your question? Yes I do believe there is a great injustice being done!
Now wait for the "Flack"
thunder2sys, They have been provoking for years! With their assasination teams

I feel terrible to see what happened to the Lebanese civilians... i feel like the US is just too blind to see what's going on over there... Of course, because of the biased media these days, its just nothing to cold people... they don't feel anything... they say "go israel!" and they don't even know what's truly happening there... this is a great injustice that the US supports... shame on US... and Israel, they make the world think that all muslims are terrorists... and Israel doesn't have the rights to defend themselves from unarmed civilians! Israel are the terrorists see??

Biased view. allowing the terrorists to run their government and allowing terrorists to start a war. The lebanese governemnt should have done something years ago. How come you don't show any sympathy for the Israeli soldiers that were killed and kidnapped without provoking anyone?

The lebanese people are very much like the germans were under the Nazis. They deserve what they are getting and have basically decided that death is the only thing that will stop them from attacking Israel.
If they simply stopped their unprovoked attack on Israel and got rid of the rockets, Israel would immediately withdraw. Note that it is their responsibility under international law and UN resolution to do so. Their response has been to chant "Death to America", "Death to Israel" and keep up the attacks.

It is sad when you see some Americans are misinformed about any issue. take a look at the Israeli issue:
Most Americans think of Israel as a country with democratic value like that of the USA and the truth is Israel is a like that of the old South African democratic value. Israel dose not have a constitution. In Israel the land is owned by the state is that an American value.

I think the geat injustice done to them is not that Israel is bombing them now, but that their country has allowed a terrorist group to be so active in their country for so many years. Did you know that Hezbullah has seats on the parliment? If that's not an injustice I don't know what is

first you have to realize that the lebanese are hoping israel knocks hezzbollah off the map. israel has protected lebanon on several occasions and lebanon as a result was able to live in peace until the hezzbollah crept across the lebanese border for the last few years and no one did anything to stop them. lebanon does not have the strength to do so, they have tried but are overwhelmed by the hezzbollah terrorists. israel has said and proven they do not want to occupy lebanon they want only to destroy hezzbollah which have occupied lebanon...its sad for lebanon but its kinda of like if a friend of yours is being picked on and the bully has beaten them down and you go in to defend them and in the course of removing the bully you accidently step on your friend or hit them by mistake...it hurts them and they don't like it but they'd rather have the bully put out of commission. for your info though, there are lots of sites that discuss this issue truthfully i would encourage you to do a little research to find out and not listen to the major news media as they are often times biased.
