that place is sweet up above and down below, period.
i visited SF 7 times last year - September was gorgeous! if memory serves.. needed a sweater at night.

The typical weather forecast is morning fog/low overcast burning off by noon. Highs in the mid 70's along the coast to mid 80's inland. If you're going to be in San Francisco proper bring a sweater or light coat because cold wind blows in off the bay in the city and you can always tell a tourist because they've got shorts on and a short sleeve shirt and they're walking with their hands over their chilly forearms. :o)

Weather is best at this time. Fog should be non-existent and the sun is out all over town. Cool at night so ALWAYS bring a sweater or light jacket when visiting my hometown.
