I know a ton of good chiropractors. I hope you're not asking for a specific one, because we don't know where you're from! Here are some tips on finding a good chiropractor.

Visit as many offices as you can. When you go in the office, what is your impression? Is the staff friendly, do the patients seem happy to be there? Are there any children there? Talk to a few patients if you can and ask them about their experiences. Are there any patient testimonials on the wall? These are all good things to look for.

When you see the doctor, is he/she friendly and approachable? Does he look healthy, or is he overweight and smells like cigarette smoke? Chiropractic is all about healthy living and keeping the nervous system functioning at its very best. If your doctor doesn't emanate all those things, I would be wary.

Does your doctor seem to care more about you or your money? Does he want to work out a payment plan before even getting to know your name?

He should do an examination, patient history, and take x-rays before giving an adjustment. Also, a great chiropractor will explain the absolute importance of the nervous system in our bodies, and will answer any questions you have about how nerve interference can cause more than just "neck and back pain." Just go by your instincts and you should have no problem finding a good DC. Good luck to you!
