Oh, what a relief! When I first read this I missed the word "dog". I was going to tell you to refer your friend to a shrink. That only happened to me once, and all I said was "would you tell your dog to quit humping my leg?" It worked.

I usually just moan and go with it! Maybe when it's done, I'll light up a cigarette sometimes and spoon with the dog. Seriously though, I usually just push the dog off in a polite manner and slip him a dollar.

and tell my friend keep his/her
dog away from people when it is
in heat.

I gently slap it's nose, tell it no, and push it away. If it continueed I would ask my friend to please put the dog up for a while.
