Rob Base and D.J. Ez Rock wrote the song. They put it on the album "It Takes Two". But they stole that line from Lyn Collins, who died recently. Lyn Collins, of the Funky Divas, sang in Rob Base's chorus. Fatman Scoop of the Crooklyn Clan also recorded a song that has that line. The line is also in "Don't Let Me Down" by 311.
