I'd say have at it; knock yourself out. Somebody asking to smell my feet does no harm to me.

Funny you should ask because that happened to me in a restaurant. A guy who was the son of someone i know was sitting at another table near me and he asked if he could see my shoe so I took it off, what the hell who cares, and gave it to him. Then he smells the shoe. Still I'm not thinking anything is weird. So he then asks if he could smell my feet and I just calmly said "No". I came to realize that this guy had mental issues. But he was harmless and on medication.
