Ya, they never work for me either. Call your reg. doc or GYN and make an appointment. They will want to do a culture to make sure it's a yeast infection. There is a perscription pill that you can take that really works. I think it's named Diflucan.

Go to the doctor. If the creams and medicines are not working, then it might be something else. There are other conditions that look a lot like yeast but can cause you to become sterile. Please get it checked immediately, you do not want to fool around with a serious infection.

Aren't yeast infections disgusting and uncomfortable? The quickest and most painless way to get rid of it is to go to the doctor and get a prescription for Diflucan. It's ONE pill that will balance out the natural ecosystem of your vagina. You'll have to have an exam, but this isn't necessarily a bad thing as they will check you for other infections and diseases. No worries though-- it's probably just a plain old yeast infection.
It sounds like you're prone to yeast infections. It's not a big deal, I am too... Anything can throw off the pH of your vagina and it's nothing to worry about. Try to prevent them by wearing full cotton underwear (thongs can irritate and and nylons/spandex doesn't allow your body to breathe), change out of your bathing suit as soon as you can after swimming (moisture breeds yeast) and clean up with baby wipes during your period and after sex... you don't need anything stronger than baby wipes. In fact, they are even more gentle than soap and water and they do the trick!
Most importantly: try to incorporate natural cultures in your diet. Eat more yogurt as it contains L. Acidophilus. Acidophilus helps to naturally maintain the balance of yeast in your vagina. If yogurt doesn't work for you, the easiest way to get enough of this culture is by taking acidophilus in pill form. You can pick it up at your local pharmacy, grocery store or wal-mart. Take one everyday and it will help you to ward off yeast infections. Good luck!

get Diflucan!!! it's a once only pill. I've only had yeast infections twice and they went away in a couple of days, and it is soooo much better and less messy than a cream (which i can just imagine cause haven't ever used). Go and specifically ask for it. My doc tried prescribing me cream, and i said i wanted Diflucan. She gave it to me. Good luck

I would go see your OB - it might not be a yeast infection. It could be something more. Or, you are wearing clothes that you are allergic to or using a product that irritates. This will sometimes cause yeast infections.

Eat a lot of yougurt. It kills the bad bacteria, and wash your genitals as often as possible. Get some OTC cream for yeast infections and some Vagisil so it won't itch. Eat a ton of yougurt. That's the best way to get rid of it.

Get live natural yoghurt and apply liberally. The best natural thing you can do is to take some garlic oil (I've bought some 'lazy garlic' before cause oil is used to form the basis), dunk a tampon in the garlic oil, insert it vaginally for about 2 hours before removing (don't worry, you don't smell/feel it).
Don't use powders and try to wear only 100% cotton panties (all the time).
Hope you feel better soon, I know it's very uncomfortable.

If you are using an over-the-counter medication, go to your ob/gyn for a prescription medication. Simple and effective.
