I'm receiving , and I just pulled out my silverware and it has black stains. I need to clean it asap.

Place in an aluminum pan/pot with baking soda and boil for a few minutes.

To avoid the smell of Tarn-X. Use hot water, calgon and aluminium foil. Line a pan with foil, boil 3 cups of water and add two teaspoons of Calgon to the hot water. then pour in lined pan.
You can dip or lay your silver in it. I t does take a little bit of elbow grease on heavily stained silver. And you can't get the smell of Tarn-X off of silver.

fill a sink foul of soapywater then take silerware and swish it thorw
