I drew this picture and it's almost done. I just have to draw the hand, but I think I also made the model too skinny. What do you think ?

Well this is only my first drawing of that kind. I'm going to get some tips from my art teacher when I return to school in the fall.

No anyone can draw like that. To be a fashion designer you don't draw models like that. You need to put less envisist on the model and more on the clothes. When you show your design clients won't be looking at the model but the clothes. The skirt is cute but the top is'nt.

You have some serious potential there! I do agree that you drew the model too skinny. You could go for a more natural looking model and maybe try to draw some plus sizes! Good Luck!

its more then just being able to draw unfortunately! there is sewing, how garments are constructed, etc, which you can learn if you go to design school. there are a lot of other fashion jobs if you are not interested in learning all that stuff ( I was a fashion design major, but i switched to fashion merchandising cuz I hated the sewing!) your pic is not bad, but there is a specific way that you learn to draw clothing and models and all that when you do it through school, so you might want to look into it!

everyone has potential - it's talent you need to be successful. Your drawing is OK, but not in line with what many designers do. Attend a fashion art school or take a class and you will learn how to do it better! GL

I think you would make a very nice fashion designer.I like designing clothes to.You need to make clothes for chubby people too.Heres a bit of advice. Draw the body first then add the clothes.I realkly like the picture.My friend is a very good seamstress.She designs alot of good clothes.

i think you can become a fashion designer, i mean if i saw those clothes in a shop i will definitely buy them because there my kind of style and if these are quickly done sketches i wonder how your better one's are and good luck with your whole fashion sketches

i think that the outfit looks really good but the model isn't as important as the clothes are. you did a really good job though. take some classes in fashion design and you'll be great. go for your dreams and keep up the good work!

Ummm...fashion designers just sketch really fast, and they are off designing. You put too much effort into the model, and not the clothes.
the clothes are hid-e-ous. they don't scream high fashion at all.

No she's not to skinny in a way she looks kinda funny but doesn't that go along with it?
