There is no substitute for repetition, but in the case of lines for a show, specifically, it helps a lot to have someone feed you the lines -- that is, read all the lines of the other characters -- and do them out loud. Then you have the auditory memory of hearing yourself say them and they are keyed to what the other actors say. Don't think just reading them will work. Read aloud with a prompter as described above, but also have the prompter read while you do them from memory. Even if you hesitate once in awhile, the prompter should not tell you unless you really blow it.
It can be a slow and tedious process at times, but once you get the point of what the playwright was trying to convey -- what the lines are supposed to sound like to the audience that is wrapped up in the story -- then they will click into place.
Good luck!

I would start memorizing three lines at a time. Keep reading them and then saying them out loud with out looking. Make sure you take breaks because if you try to memorize everything at once you might get confused.

you read the first 10 lines and keep reading and try to say it without looking at the paper. once you got that go to the next 10 lines and read and memorize that. when you kno it go all they way back to the beginning and try n say the whole thing. then go to the next 10 lines etc

Writing them down always works for me. It's like they go from your hand to your head.
