Why would you want to clean your room ? It is the only space you have that is totally private ! You clean all the rest of the house, you take care of your family's needs, so just allow yourself to be "at ease" in your room.
You do share your room, so you need to establish a couple of rules for the room : 1. food/beverage is not allowed in the room 2. all dirty clothes must be put in a basket until washed 3. all shoes belong in the closet as soon as they're off your feet
You are allowed some freedom to relax.
That's it !The End ! Good Luck !

I've struggled with this probably most of my life as well, More stuff equals more mess-are there anythings you have been thinking about parting with. Make your bed and pick up any clothes off the floor-once you do one thing you'll start picking up a little speed to do more.

Whenever you make a mess, even if it's only a little one, then clean it up right away if you can. That way, your room should still be tidy at the end of the night.

Do not put anything where it doesn't belong.

If you see something out of place, pick it up and put it away immediately.

Do your laundry and hang it up or put it in your drawers as soon as you take it out of the dryer or as soon as you come home from the laundromat.

Before you go to bed at night, help your son pick up his things and pick up and put away everything of yours at the same time.

Make your bed the first thing in the morning (after you go to the bathroom).

Make yourself do these things and neatness will become a habit with a lot of effort.

i don't certainly comprehend... my boyfriend says i'm messy yet he's a clean freak so i'm unable to learn with him! yet whilst i grew to become into first in love, and whilst i'm hand-elevating issues (i'm hand-elevating a pheasant chick top now, yet each year I certainly have some newborn in issue!) i'm getting quite quite tidy. So i think of as quickly as i'm married and with young ones i will organise myself greater... or is that what each and every woman says / hopes?

your life is not in order right now, you tend to leave things as they are and only think about them later...organize your life and show your son that he must be responsible and clean after his mess too.2 positive thinking minds brings success!

Put all your dirty clothes away immediately. Don't leave towels laying around. Pick up after your child and teach him to pick up after himself.
