I have always had my ultra sounds between 4 and 8 weeks along, That way they can tell if 1) you are pregnant, and 2) if it is a tubal or a good pregnancy. Not everybody may get the first symptoms. Some people are different and you may never even have morning sickness.
The Dr doing the ultra sound can tell you if it a good pregnancy or not.
Good Luck

I had a molar pregnancy in 2001. At my 8-week ultrasound the doctor saw nothing but clusters of black cells (moles). In some cases a 7-week u/s is just too early; in other cases it's a bad sign that usually comes with other bad signs, like high hormone levels or other symptoms.

In mid February I had an ectopic pregnancy and NEVER had ANY symptoms. At around 7wks they did an ultrasound and found the embryo, with a heartbeat, in my left fallopian tube. I had to have surgery and my tube taken out because it was so far along. I hope you don't have this, and you REALLY need them to find out what's going on because that's a life and death situation sometimes. Good Luck!!!!

U/S - is that ultrasound?... my first pregnancy was "unseen" until just after 7 weeks, they checked with internal ultrasound 4 times. finally they saw that it was tubal. i had no symptoms of prenancy: no sickness or anything. just no period (although a little spotting)... and the blood tests showed pregnant.
