The proteins are made up of molecules
Those molecules are made up of carbon chains...
the carbon chains are made up of different combinations of carbon, nitrogen, hydrogen so forth

sub sub atomic particles

at the very bottom of the list is energy....

when you break down matter to the lowest form it is energy...
