It is human nature to look. I try my best not to.

I think it's rude TO LOOK, unless you are going to stop and help.

Think about it- these people have just been through something terrible, some of them may be hurt, disoriented, dead, some people might feel like their life is just falling apart.

And, it's not just rude to the people involved in the accidet, think of all the drivers behind you that are going to be stuck in traffic just because of the rubber neckers!

I heard that in some state, an inflatable yellow wall would be erected around an accident site. I don't even know if that's true, but I wish they would do that everywhere.

No, it's not rude. You actually should not look because rubberneckers are what causes traffic jams, back ups on the roads and more accidents. If it is a minor fender bender there is nothing to see, if it is a serious accident it is just morbid human nature to want to look. We should all use self control and keep our eyes where they belong... on the road.

I hope that everyone could strive to not look instead of taking up my precious time staring at something there is not control over. As long as you know help is on the way or already there why slow down to look?

It is rude to slow down and cause a traffic jam,and should be criminal to be in my way cause you are busy gawking at a scene you do not intend on doing anything about,

If you don't want to look, that is your bizz,no it isn't rude. But if it just happened and nobody is already trying to help, the least you could do is dial 911.

We're all curious. BUT, some people look and almost cause ANOTHER accident.
