I wouldn't be suprised if Variteck only plays one more year. He just doesn't seem to have it anymore. But then who would be the startin catcher? Marabelli only hits .200. I can see a trade coming next year for a catcher

I'm wonderful...doesn't look like they're going to make any moves...sure they could use another solid starter, but you don't want to give up any of the young talent they have...i would like to see them get someone with speed who can come off the bench in key situations...they had harris, but chose kapler over him
