Ah Ha! Welcome to the real world of dating & the fairer sex!!
The manual for keeping a woman happy cannot yet be written due to the fact there would not be enough trees to make it....

However, there are some basic elements that all of the male species do recognise from long, bitter, disturbing, painful, gut wrenching, heart ripping, money losing, car losing, house losing, dog losing, cat losing, holiday home losing ............................... I'm not bitter!!!!! Just confused!!! Oh yes and the point was.......................... We will discover life on other planets before we discover what makes a woman happy, as men we just have to live with it!

Good luck!

P.S

I still have a sneaking suspicion that it has something to do with when we were thirteen years old and the teachers split the boys and girls up for the day to watch a presentation (You remember the one, we all got the "Talk" at that age?), I still think that they got a different training session to the rest of us!

The reasons are many and depends on the person. Could be fear of commitment, shyness, was not wanting a relationship, only enjoyed the attention, lost interest once the chase is over, doesn't really fancy you now that you've mentioned it, frightened off by the prospect of being with one person only, enjoys freedom and going out with friends more, not ready to have sex,etc etc

Women and men both do this. It seems like it is just the "human nature" of some people. I have met a lot of people like that, but not all people are that way. There are people out there who really appreciate it when they find love. Don't give up-keeping looking for a real woman.

Excellent question.

The chase seems to be part of it. Women base their status and self-esteem (in a large part) on being attractive to men.

Thus if you're aloof, she may react, instinctively, by trying to win your attention and approval.
Then once she's won you over, there's nothing left for her. The motivation fizzles out and she drifts off to find another conquest.

The next question is how do you keep a woman trying?

When a woman knows that her partner has fallen for her it may shock her, it may not be that she is backing off it could be that she is trying to get her head around the fact that you have accepted her for who she is and now she feels relaxed and comfortable with you that she doesn't have to be around you all the time to find out how you feel. She will tell you her feelings when she knows them, just give her space and let her accept the gift you have given her and then she will return a gift to you

Men do this too I am afraid. They play "cat and mouse". They want to know they are desirable but do not want the commitment, or were not interested in the first place. Learn from it and try to notice the signs of it aobut to happen. Love is tough. Please bounce back and try again.

the only way to find out is to ask her outright...... that you feel she has backed off and changed her attitude..... challenge her....... then at least you should have an idea on where you stand in this relationship

when women realise that you are in love they back off because thats how they were created, thats nature.some people call it animal instincts.females want to be pursured, coaxed, entinsed, begged, even if they are in love or not.they just want to see if you are that sincere, thats the female species 4yu.
