I strongly reccomend windows cause it comes with all the up to dat tecnology and maybe even an antivirus. I also reccomend that you get a Dell laptop. Those are top of the line.

If you get a Mac, my advice would be to use Mac OS X. This is prefered for advanced computer users. If you are a beginner but want full functionality, get a windows machine, they are much easier to use and more software is built for them. However, Mac OS X is better for advanced computer users.. it is much nicer.

you'll be fine with either or since nearly all colleges have both readily available at their computer labs. windows you wouldn't have an issue with compatibilty or anything like that but macs are more reliable and crash less. I'd say go with a mac.

Get a PC!!! Macs are NOT keeping up with what is demanded by most educational institutions, nor can they keep up with what is being demanded by many corporations.
