The very first Moonlanding took place on July 20th, 1969 by Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin. It was a historical time in the history of man and I watched the entire program of the Moon landing in front of me television set. I've been following the Space program since the days of the Mercury and Gemini missions. Mercury missions were one-man space flights...the Gemini programs were two-man space missions, and the Apollo missions where three-man missions which eventually took us to tha Moon on July 20, 1969. The Shuttle missions are seven-man and woman missions...but I haven't as much condidence in the Shuttle programs because of their high "accident" persentage as compared to all other space progams.
