I think it probably was running along your curtain rod or climbing your curtains when he defeated and it stuck to the window. They can get in strange places.

It's a special window-fitter mouse - mousus builderus. He did his droppings in the normal way, but only after removing the window, laying it flat and squatting in the middle. Then he replaced it.

If you think mouse cr@p on the window is bad, wait until you get his bill for the work

well, they are really small and can fit every where, but I don't think they'd want to "drop their load" while being that restricted. lol...so I'm guessing that an insect of some sort found it and transported it to middle of the window pane, then got tired and went home. :P

Probably not a mouse, but a bat. Or poss a Gecko lizard (they can climb glass with ease), but if you don't live on the Mediterranean, I would say a bat. He probably voided his bowels on the wing.

I had a mouse leave them in my Shreddies, I thought they were harmless burnt bits and got most of the way through the pack before I realised.

American cockroaches sometimes leave droppings mistaken for mouse droppings.

a mouse has flexible bones and only needs a gap of 5mm to get into your window.

It was in fact put there by an amazonian artillery mouse, their little arses are capable of firing crap up to 100mtrs.
