Be patient. Any second now a Mary Kay rep will respond to your question. Also an Avon rep who will say her company is better.

I'm sure you have had so many answers to your question but I will give you mine as well. My name is Tammy and I am a Mary Kay Consultant. I have been working this business for 3 almost 4 years now and it is a great experience. In order to get started you will need to find a consultant that you want to work with. They can give you all the information about the company, how to make money, buying options, rewards, and anything else you have questions about. You will end up having to buy a start up kit (which I think is $250) and than your first order has to be $400 worth of product for you to get it for $200. Anything below that you will end up paying full price for. My suggestion would be to find people that will buy from you and see what they want THAN place an order. There should be some Mary Kay meetings around if you find a consultant to take you to one. Let me know if you need any more information. I hope you join out Mary Kay team and have an awesome experience.
Tammy

If you are thinking about starting a business... congradulations! You are on the right track. The Mary Kay company treats their consultants AND customers like Queens! There is so much about the MK business that you are going to absolutely love! The products are just the icing on the cake!

Mary Kay stands for God first, family second and career third. They also operate on the Golden Rule. Where else are you going to find a business like this??

The sisterhood that you are going to come into will also be amazing! The corporate world has NOTHING on the way MK does things!

Find a consultant in your area... you can do this buy going to marykay.com and clicking on locate. There is also a part of the website where you can learn about the MK opportunity. Start there. Once you get in touch with a consultant, they will be able to answer all of your questions and also let you talk with a director! From here, your recruiter and director, will help train and guide you every step of the way! Good luck! PLEASE e-mail me with any questions.
