Hmm good question...I never really stopped to think about it anymore lately.... I've been so caught up in my priorites with work and school that I havent stopped to actually appreciate simple things that life gives us to experience. WOW, total sense opener....Although I can recall that strong scent of fresh made chickory coffee my mother used to brew when we lived together in New Orleans. I miss that feeling of walking through the door and theres nothing like the smell of home welcoming your presence. Hmm..now? I really have to think about it...

Puppies, Kittens, New baby smell, long time Friends,lost loves that live in our hearts,memories, fresh flowers,Cozy soft slippers,watching old favorite movies again and again,favorite blanket, rainy days that you get to stay in bed, warm cookies from the oven,fresh bread,old love letters, looking thru photo albums seeing how things have changed,helping friends,your dog snoring on your lap.

Long drives on a fall day, listening to the rain on the roof, and fresh cookies just out of the oven. These are the simple pleasures of life.

Electric heated mattress pad -- heat comes up through the mattress pad instead of an electric blanket where the heat sufficates you from on top.
A good book and a cuddly dog.
A long hot shower.
The electric light display from a great thunderstorm.

Fresh linen - fluffed up bed pillows - pj's - warm afghan just out of the dryer.. and having my dog cuddle up with me..
Hubbys good, but he snores, she doesn't

The smell of the rain, sitting in front of the fire on a snowy day, cuddling with the one I love, reading a good book, hanging out with friends and LAUGHING for no reason, etc.

I live in the mountains and my favorite is building a huge fire in the fireplace and making hot chocolate and reading a good book by the fire, preferably while there is a blizzard outside.
