Guinea pigs are very chubby. Make sure they get at least 1 hour per day of out of cage time and eat a good diet of guinea pig pelletted food , timothy hay, and fresh vegetables. Limit the amount of fruit that they get. A sllice of melon or a quarter of an orange every couple of days is plenty.
Guinea pigs have been bred for thousands of years as a meat source for humans. they have been bred to grow quickly and gain weight easily.

Guinea pigs have big bellies because of the food they eat, all that hay. They should be smooth and sleek, but not fat. Too many pellets and snacks are a source of weight gain in pigs. Limit their pellets to the recommended dose on the packet. They should be allowed to eat all the hay they want. No more than one baby carrot snack a day and no fruits for weight loss...give them more veggies like dark lettuce, peppers, etc.

Also, they should be getting plain pellets, not one of those mixes with grains and fruit in it.

They should also be getting floor time outside of their cage every day. Buy a 48" plastic wading pool for them to run around in, or let them run around in a large bathroom or kitchen every day for a few hours.

Guinea pigs do tend to get quite large, especially the males. It's very normal. Don't forget to give them their Vitamin C every day!

OK here's the deal i have a hamster and the same thing happened to him I thought something might be wrong but my vet said that at most pet stores they don't feed them as much as you might like to at home. you should also make sure that your animal is getting plenty of exercise and has room to run around. every week at least once you should also give him a fresh treat like lettuce, yogurt, or a strawberry,(nothing citrus including tomatoes).another thing essential to a healthy diet is meat.meal worms from a pet store or little bit of UN-cooked GROUND beef would be good. salt wheels are also good fro them to gnaw on.

My male weighs 3.2 lbs. and the vet says he's as healthy as they come. He gets about 1-2 hours of excercise outside of his cage daily and I only feed him Romaine Lettuce, Pellets, Timothy Hay and of course orange rinds twice a week for Vitamin C.

Your piggies are probably just fine. Mine range from 2-5 1/2 lbs. Each piggie is different. I have one that is twice as big as his parents. Please study the web below, your piggie will love you for it.

Try feeding them more hay and less mix food, this should help them lose weight.
