Gandalf, Bilbo and Gollum help.?

Question

What are the hobbies and interests of Gandalf, Bilbo and Gollum?
Also if you know of any skills they have from The Hobbit. Where were [[if]] they eduacted? Did Bilbo or Gollum ever have jobs?

gandalf was a wizard so his time would've been spent reading old books and travelling the lands meeting new people and such

bilbo was a mischievous halfling and his "education" came from exploring the real world. meeting new people and seeing different places and writing about them

gollum or smeagol was a total loser, the emo of his time. no one liked him, smelled funny and was a murderer. spend his whole life looking for a little ring. sounds like a waste doesn't it?

Well Gandalf's hobby seems to be hanging out with the hobbits which is pretty weird. Most people just ignore hobbits. Bilbo's hobbies include eating, eating and eating! Gollum's hobbies are fawning over the ring and staring into the abyss. I don't recall reading if they have any particular hobbies.

Gandalf is a wizard and was educated by Sarumon the White. Gollum was a hobbit so it is likely he was a farmer before finding the ring so he would not have been educated. Bilbo is a member of the Baggins clan who are independently wealthy. Bilbo never had a job and the education he got was from being on the road. Of course, Bilbo can write so we can assume that he was at least given literacy education at home.

I would suggest that Gandalf liked designing and creating interesting and exciting fireworks for all the hobbit children, who so delight in them. (apart from studying 1st Age history of Middle earth) Bilbo, seemed to like mountains and adventure, so I imagine he likes hiking. Obviously Bilbo has excellent riddle solving skills, and it would seem Gollum was the best, considering the years he was in the Misty MOuntains, until he met Bilbo of course. I reckon Gollum or Bilbo never had jobs, except of course the work they had to do to sustain themselves in their everyday lives, kind like farmers, alright then?

I believe Gandalf used to own a Jiffy Lube. Gollum worked there for a while, and that's how they met. It's been a while since I read LoTR, but that's the one thing I remember.
