Apparently if your meat package has a big space between the meat and the top of the package, it isn't good.......They are adding air(oxygen) to the package to keep it (red) in color longer...
Don't trust it...........People are getting sick.........One little boy died from it........The date on the package is a long time b/4 expiration.
Which should be a warning...........No more than use in 5-6 days
Kroger, Wal-mart.and Meijers are not doing this>Thank God they look out for the consumer...............The meat inspectors say that the added oxygen is in standards with the US Dept. Of Health! Shame on them for not having higher standards, and a little boy died.>>>>>>>>I just want to inform my fellow American people and others who love all.

You may want to recheck Wal-mart as there packages are billowed outward indicating added oxygen or rancid meat I am a licensed meat cutter in Alabama so I do know a little about processing meat.

If that bothers you visit a slaughter house?
The conditions there are so bad you will puke. They soak chickens in bleech and water solutions to get rid of the smell.
It is gross! the tub where the pieces of meat that is to bad to be used anywhere even hamburger is tossed. Tons of chemicals, bleeches and food flavorings and colorings are added to a green foamy mixture that goes through a blender to make hot dogs.
Chickens are blown up in 6 weeks with harmones and can't even stand on their own. Then thrown with broken limbs and packed in crates still alive to arrive at slaughter houses and hung up by the neck on hooks. On a conveyer belt. They are anything but humane. They have proven the cattle have additives and have to quite feeding them PMS withing 6 weeks of going to market.
They have one group that they do that way for the inspectors.
The rest are fed know cancer causing stuff right up until they go to market. All the while perfectly good artificial meat products are made from soy beans that are actually good for you.
That are cheeper to produce and less inpact on the inviroment.
In other words stop eating meat it can kill you.
It is a dead decaying rotting animal
