It is not a 64-bit processor. 65nm process means the manufacturing process used to produce the processor. A chip manufactured using a 65nm process will use less power than one produced using a 90nm process for example. It also lowers the cost of the chip as more 65nm processors can be produced on a single plate than 90nm processors.

it has to do with the efficiency of the design of the processor...im pretty sure a lower number is better but most humans cant comprehend such data...go to a technical website that discusses processors alot like overclock.net to see how the different cpus are performing in real life.
