You could try Dillons or Blackwells, but if I were you I'd look up a local bookshop in the Yellow pages and phone them - ask them if it's in stock and even if it isn't most bookshops can order a book and have it ready to be picked up in 24 hours (if the book is still in print). It's a lot quicker than ordering online.

Waterstones has got a website of their own. WHSmiths. Borders. Blackwells. A lot of the publishers - Penguin, Random House etc - have got websites.

Or look in the phone book for the phone numbers of any other book shops in your area - and ask them if they have got the book you want in stock at the moment, or will have it shortley.

Waterstones joined Amazon years ago so don't have a site of their own. If you're trying to find a specific book, try Amazon (they have everything) or Play.

Also, you can actually go into your local branch of Waterstones and ask them to order it in for you. They're very good and I've ordered a few things that way.

I think Waterstones is part of Amazon, and has apparently put a bid in for Ottakars..... soon there will be no choice!

real books. i like the sensation once you carry them and the scent of them while they're sort new. even however, E-books are effective on account that i ought to hold 2,000 or extra books with me everywhere i circulate. I deliver my kindle with me as quickly as I shuttle and its less complicated than donning 3 books or extra on a visit. Plus the books are extra low fee. i offered a e book for $5 it quite is a huge distinction from its hardcover ($12). yet nonetheless, i like real books.
