It seems every year a candidate for presidency has some big pop culture icons enrdorse them, they lose the race. Do voters honestly care how entertainers think or are they people that do sway our public opinion?

Sing, dance, act & play, but keep your opinions to yourself.
Everyone has an opinion, yes, and we all like to express it, but, lets be on equal ground here. Celebrities aren't looking for my blog to see what I have to say about world peace... are they looking for you for your opinions? No. So, why the hell should I/we care about theirs?
Bono, Angelina Jolie and other celebrities HAVE THE MONEY to go do humanitarian work. I don't, I don't think the media should say "oh, look at how great they are..." and they take the media they get for granted to tell the world how we should all help... let's see them do what they are doing when they are struggling to pay their bills... it doesn't happen.

I do not care. I do however like when a celebrity uses their star power for the sake of good. For example when Brad Pitt and Angelina were in Africa before Angelina's pregnancy. They knew that the paparazzi would be hounding them left and right about their public life and the birth of Shilo. They might as well bring the media circus to a 3rd world country where the public will see snap shots of the poor families in Africa. It helped educate the public on the matter in Africa. The famine, diesese, poverty etc...I don't care if someone like Alec Baldwin is going to threaten to move outside of the United States if Bush is president. Leave the country then you big baby.

Why should I CARE? These celebrities didnt give me money to support my lifestyle .. Why should i care for them . Sometimes they wasted SO Much money on SILLY things.. Like for an example- Buying a real nice GUCCi watch for 400 dollars.. reasonable nice for an expensive watch .. but If a Gucci watch cost 5 thousand dollars ... What worth is it?? Watch is just a THING even it has quality or not. How can they know its all GOOD brands inside the 5 thousand watch. Unless if it has diamonds or whatever it is .. I can understand that .. Again, I do not care what they think .. Mostly are stupid to me and trying to feel how important they are when they do wrong and stupid things. Lot of celebrities went though lot of Scandals to get what they need to be at that point. I am not jealous but im happy being poor in lot of ways i called it mind of peace and struggling to make through life. It feels good but it would have been nice to have some extra money for fun .. At least all the bills are paid each month is what I cared , not waste so much money on silly clothes, jewerlries and so on .. i would love to waste money on my family and take my family on vacations .. make sure that my family have a good stable life with ttheir issues.. Again .. voters... why should i VOTE them ? what can it help my lifestyle if i VOTE them and what will they give me? They only thanked me and let them make lot of money on their own ... what if i see them and said hi .. they acted SNOBBED.... i said i vote for you .. they will say oh thnks ... walked away!!! so think twice what they are up to

Most of today's "celebrities" are over-opinionated and under educated. For the most part, they don't have any idea what they're talking about. Have you ever noticed that these multi-millionaires want to spend our tax dollars on social issues, but want big tax breaks from the places where their movies are made?
The celebrities who get my attention are the ones who do the right thing BECAUSE it's the right thing, not because it's going to get them some publicity.

I don't know about everybody else, but I really don't care. I mean seriously, if Paris Hilton had an opinion about a presidential election, I would TOTALLY not listen to what she had to say. Everyone has a brain, they should think for themselves.

Some folks idolize certain celebrities (like Madonna) so when they endorse that Presidential canidate, it influences that voter. Sad, but true.

Yes they do. America is based on celebs. Pretty much all anyone cares about these days is what celebs do, what celebs eat, etc.
