Of course, Germany is going to win. Hello... Ireland didn't even make World Cup. Also, Germany will be winning EURO 2008!!! and WC 2010. i'm supporting Germany all the way.

the preliminary qualifiers of the 2008 European Championship will begin on 16 August 2006 & not this Saturday as mentioned by yourself.
GERMANY v REPUBLIC OF IRELAND match will be played on Saturday, 02 September 2006 at Gottlieb-Daimler Stadion, Stuttgart, Germany. the kick-off will be at 20:45 CET

Uhmm excuse me, but the first qualifying match is not going to be held until August 16th.
And the Germany vs Rep. of Ireland match is actually gonna be held on September 2nd.
