I used that method for the first 7 months my husband and I were married, and I didn't get pregnant, however it was really frustrating that he kept pulling out so I started to take the pill, took the pill for 6.5 years and got pregnant the month I quit it so I know I could have gotten pregnant back then. So i can tell you it was very effective for me, however, it is mostly a man's obligation to pull out at the right time.

The withdrawal method is not a recommended for teens for several reasons. Many young men lack the experience and self-control to pull out in time. Some guys have been known to say they will pull out, and then they get so excited and carried away that they don't. Some guys cannot tell when they are going to ejaculate. Some guys ejaculate very quickly, before they realize it. Before ejaculation, all penises can leak fluid — pre-ejaculate — that may contain sperm and cause pregnancy. And lots of sexually transmitted infections can be passed from one person to another even if a guy withdraws before ejaculation. Many, like herpes, genital warts, and syphilis, are passed just from skin-to-skin contact.
Pregnancy can happen when ejaculate or pre-ejaculate gets in the vagina or vulva. Both ejaculate and pre-ejaculate can also carry sexually transmitted infections, such as gonorrhea, chlamydia, and HIV. Latex and female condoms reduce the risk of unintended pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections.
Hope this information helps!

Pulling out does not work as a form of Birth Control Billions of woman and teenage girls have become pregnant because of Pre-Ejaculate over the centuries Unprotected sex before, during or after a period can and will get you pregnant Basically unprotected sex at any time can get you very pregnant.

I have used the withdrawal method for 8 months now and haven't got pregnant. But I'm a married woman and if it happened, we wouldn't be upset we just don't want it to happen yet. If you are not married or do not want children, I would not recommend this method.

The odds are pretty high. I say this because my daughter, who is now 6, was conceived while I was ON the pill and my husband pulled out. If you don't want to get pregnant, then don't risk it. Use a condom. They are a lot less expensive then children (especially surprise) children are.

The 95% chance is that you will get pregnant. So don't rely on it unless you want to start a family.

I believe it is more than 95% due to sperm still leaks while you're having sex, just because he has an orgasm or does not have one does not mean that there is not yet sperm in your body... That's not a good method of birth control...
