They just are. I asked a friend of mine, because my family was having this debate: they can help it or they can't, etc. So I asked my friend. She said she was born that way, she was always attracted to girls. Even though her family isn't supportive, she still can't not think of women. She tried to be with a guy friend of ours and she said that sealed the deal for her...when he showed her his penis, it actually grossed her out. She said she reached down and touched it and she about puked. She had to get up and leave and went home and made love to her girlfriend.
