The MP3 player was nice in that it was an MP3 and an FM radio. iPods do not come with FM radio's although you can buy an adapter if you are into radio. With the new iPods you can put pictures and videos on them where you cannot with an MP3. iPods can store so much more media than MP3 players. ipods go all the way up to 60G which is very hard to fill up. iPods have a lot of accessories that you can buy to fit your personal needs. Both are PC compatible so you dont have to worry about that. Price wise, they all vary. You can get a 30G ipod for $300. Where some MP3 players are between $100-150 for only one gig. Personally I prefer the ipod. And I cant leave home without it. Its become part of my lifestyle.

Creative Labs makes some good mp3 players and they support the WMA format which I prefer over MP3.

u got it wrong, its what makes a ipod worse than others. 1. overated, 2. ovrpriced 3.crap=ipoop 4. creative mp3 players are better!

IPODs break so EASILY!!!!!! mp3's are better and last longer!!!!!!!.....IPODs are just overrated!!!!!
