No chance this year.
But they are definitely rebuilding the team in the right direction in my opinion. They've got a young team and have some really top-notch prospects coming through the minors.
In a few years, I see a respectable Devil Rays team if they can stay the course with developing from within.

I think they have a legitimate chance to finish ahead of Baltimore and the players they have are showing tremendous progress. I think Carl Crawford is the next MLB superstar. But they have no chance of contending against the Sox, Yanks, or Jays. Not this year anyways.
Look for them to trade Lugo soon.

ahhh no they have kazmir and thats it they have nice young talent on the offense and defensive side but there pitching blows if they could add 2 nasty starters from free agency then they would have a pretty good team and maybe a power hitter cuz they have all mediocare power if they could grab a carlos lee from free agency next year and a brandon webb but they wont cuz they have no money

They have no pitching. And no help on the way.
And they're too cheap to keep their good players.
Until they get a new owner who'll spend some money, they're be cellar dwellers.
