Notify all SPCA or other animal associations, pet stores and any businesses in the area you suspect your dog is lost. Put up signs with a colour picture, and how to contact you. Place a classified ad in some newspapers, again with a colour picture if you can. Radio stations are also a good way to spread the word. Some stations in smaller cities and towns have a lost and found feature. Even in large city, call in and ask them to mention it on air. Call all the veterinarians and animal hospitals in case someone has taken your dog there. You may consider offering a reward, because it will attract more attention to your lost dog. The more people who have a description of your dog, and who know it is lost and can reach you, the more likely your pet will be found.

Try posting an ad in the lost and found section of your newspaper and telling about the dog you have lost. Also try the animals shelters daily you might find your dog there. Also put up poster on telephone poles telling people all about the dog you lost. Even looking for him would help too.

Have friends walk around all the nearby parks or 'green' areas looking and calling. Also, go to all the 'familiar' areas your dog has been to since they will most likely try and proccur attention(food/social) at a familiar place. If noting, Then go to the big newspaper and contact a delivery driver and ask them to keep an eye out, garbage truck drivers as well r helpful in a logistical manner.

I would stick a paper of the dogs picture in the houses and write my phone number. And the most important thing is that u should give them a reward if found.

First, go look for him. Call his name, etc. Check the local animal shelters. Post signs with a picture offering a reward. People are more likely to return your dog if they think they will get $ for it.
