I currently have a .com address registered with a certain company, but I want to change the company that I have the .com address registered with. Is it possible to do this? and how?
ex.: i have sampledomain.com registered with redirection.net, but I want to register that same domain with godaddy.com. I would still be the operator of the domain, I just want to change the host.

You are asking the wrong question. You don't want to change ownership of a domain name; it will still belong to you. What you want is to transfer the domain name to another registrar. And yes, you can do it. Just set up an account with goDaddy and transfer your domain into that account.

simply log into your registrar and change the whois information
