i have never played guitar before....so i was wondering as a beginner...is there a good brand out there that i should look for? something that is durable...but also cheap?

first buy an acoustic. Once you master the sound of it you can move to electirc. It will take disapline.

Buy a Fender acoustic. Great sounding guitars.

Go to Sam Ash. Pick up a Carlo Robelli accoustic. It's a really decent and cheap guitar. Perfect for beginners

I've heard that the "First Act" brand is good for those starting out, They have acoustics , electrics , basses , etc. I heard they were a good basic guitar and pretty inexpensive.

there are a lot of beginner guitar kits out there that are inexpensive....have fun....i love to play, too!
