Check with your insurance the co-payment vary. Also check with yourHR department about your EAP (Employees Assistance Program) sometimes they will cover a number of session. Search the internet and check with your local church they might offer free or inexpensive session.

Good Luck!

Some counseling can be expensive, but it is also possible to find counseling that is based on your ability to pay. Colleges and universities that are training counselors often offer lower-priced counseling (with someone who is nearing the end of their studies). Churches also often offer free, or very low-priced counseling. If you are not opposed to going to a church, this would be what I would recommend. You can call around churches in your area and ask about counseling services. If they don't offer any, they can usually refer you to someone.

Marriage counseling will vary from counselor to counselor, so if you find one that makes you uncomfortable or doesn't seem to help you, keep looking. Often counseling begins with having each person take a "test" or answer a series of questions or each person might meet alone with the counselor so that the counselor can assess the situation and determine where the counseling needs to go. The counseling itself is really about the counselor asking questions that are designed to help you and your spouse identify and communicate struggles, feelings, issues, that may be a barrier in your marriage. You really can talk as much or as little as you like, but the more honest you and your spouse are willing to be, the more the counseling will be able to do for you.

There's really nothing "magic" about counseling. It just helps you to discuss things that for some reason you may find difficult to bring up on your own. It also helps you to face things that you may not have even recognized in yourself. The counselor may make some recommendations, but what you and your spouse do with the information is up to you.

It varies where you go but however much it costs its cheaper than divorce and worth every penny if you can save your marriage. They basically talk to you separately and together and give you both a chance to get your feelings out in the open with a neutral 3rd party to listen to both sides and help sort through your issues. Marriages are rarely ruined by one person and it helps both parties see what they are doing wrong and ideas on how to help fix it. If you can get your partner to go it will be the best money you ever spent.

Ussually your insurance policy will cover it or at least part of it. If you don't have insurance it is between 60 and 120 dollars an hour depending on where you live. MFT are the best. They don't solve your problems but aid you in being able to solve your own problems.
