First I wanted to be a veteranarian, then a photographer -- was the high school newspaper and yearbook photographer, and did some work to make money doing it. Just before college I discovered computers, and had always been good in math...so changed my major to CompSci, and wound up doing computer graphics and programming video games, eventually winding up as CTO of a large video game company.
Funny thing is, I've just last month took my stock options and got out of the corporate world, and am doing full-time: photography!
Back to what I really wanted to do as a kid. Took me a long time to get here though...:) Follow your dreams, no matter how long it takes to make them come true.

When I was little I wanted to a ballerina, then an astronaut and later a window cleaner - I thought it would be a really friendly job and you would chat to lots of interesting people. When I was 11 or so I wanted to be a teacher even though I hated school, now I am a teacher. Though I only trained to be a teacher so I could travel again (I travelled for 6 years after I left college) but not as a backpacker. Teaching older kids in the U.K was awful, but teaching 7 year old in Tashkent was brilliant, next I'm off to Kampala for more of the same.

I wanted to be a nurse who took care of babies & sick kids and thats what I am today for the past 13 years best job and work exprience I ever had wouldn't trade for anything else..
