I suppose from a military standpoint I would be tempted to give M-16s to Vercingetorix for his battle against Ceaser. But from a serious standpoint I would take a modern day U.S. flag and a map of the current United States and show it to George Washington at Valley Forge. So that when things seemed their darkest for the colonist he would know to keep fighting. I would also take him a few refrigerators and a lot of food and clothes so his soldiers wouldn't freeze or starve to death.
