Same reason rats desert a sinking ship! The fire is out for the BEP's just the same as all Pop and Hip hop artists. None of them have talent or longevity they are all just getting their 15mins and then its on to the "Next Big Thing"

I don't think she's leaving, she's just embarking on a solo project. Black Eyed Peas are going to be touring in the next few months, although I persume that she will be touring with them.
