The Method brand of detergents from Target are really nice smelling. They are a little more than I like to spend of laundry detergent, but I splurged and tried one once. It smelled really good!! Also just putting a dryer sheet in the dryer helps. Make sure you don't leave the laundry in the washer too long after it is done washing because that will make it smell. I did that the other day because I forgot about it and then had to rewash them and they smelled fine after that. Good luck and happy washing! :)

Try Gain detergent. I like the original scent it seems to work the best. I used to use the tropical paradise but it left the clothes smelling bad...so I switched to Gain original and it works well.

I personally think that by adding Downy Fabric Softner to your clothes makes them smell better. It is the Downy smell that I smell once I get them out of the closet or drawers. Good luck!

I believe your washer may not be working properly, you can hear the motor running, but if you could look inside the agitator might not be agitating, or spinning out all the water.
If the washer is in good working order.
To get great smelling clothes I hang them out on the line, sheets especially.

Tide Clean Breeze smells wonderful! Also, maybe you are leaving your clothes in the washer wet too long, or are overloading your washes!

i would stick to either all or purex or gain--all of which i have used over the past many years of laundry. i have 3 boys so i do know my laundry. also, check your water quality and the inside of your washer. you don't want your clothes all perfumey--you want them to just smell clean.
