I just recently had a breast reduction (about 2 weeks ago) I was just curious as to how long It takes for the swelling to go down and their size and shape to get back to normal. And If I'm not being too personal, how is the scarring?

I didn;t but my best friend did. It took her about a month to get to normal as far as swelling and she used coca butter on the scars after her doc gave the ok and they are barely visable. Congrats! I bet you cant wait to start trying on new clothes!

I had my reduction about two months ago, so I vividly remember being exactly where you are!

The swelling differs from person to person. By two weeks, mine was gone completely. A friend took a few months. If you sleep upright, it helps.

After only two months, my scarring is very minimal. The skin isn't very raised and it's just slightly pink. I expect them to be virtually invisible within a few months. Use your Mederma and that'll do the trick!

Good luck and enjoy the results!
