Why is it rated R? Is it really that scary? Do you think it would a appro. for a 13 and 14 year old?
If no, then what are some scary movies that are only rated PG-13? Very scary/ just really freaky

its the original, and yes there are some scary scenes but you have to remember-back then movies were alot different then what they are today. its good to ask questions like this and you may want to call your local library and talk to someone there who may have seen it. I have, I enjoy stuff like that. parents just need to know the how mature their children are and act accordingly.

omg that one was sooo much scarier than the remake they just did....ummmm...it depends on if the kids get scared easily or not...
