Jesus is / was a liberal Now what is you mealy mouth point

Liberals don't hate Jesus they hate those Christians like President Bush and Pat Robertson and such who favor killing others.
I know that they say they are pro-life (anti-choice/anti-abortion) but they seem to have absolutely no problem killing women children families , and leaders if it fits their agenda

We also HATE self righteous hypocrites like yourself who seem to think that if a person cares about the planet they live on or the poor or other such liberal things that they obviously are evil or something.

Not all liberals are christian. Some are decent Muslims or Jews or Buddhist or atheist or agnostic
Liberals want separation of church and state because they know or feel they know what will happen if the country becomes a theocratic state.Certain minority religions (Wickens) will be outlawed and many other rights that have been secured will be removed and the state will have even more control over what a person can think or do.



This country was founded by a bunch of liberals who had the revolutionary idea of letting the people decide.
They knew FIRST HAND what tyranny comes from a theocratic state.

Why do churches refuse to pay taxes , Give to Caesar what is Caesars and to God what is Gods.
The Churches should have to pay taxes like everyone else.
The same applies to those Conservatives.
Jesus said that to serve him you must first serve the poor.
Those Liberals are trying to do just that through liberal programs like public schools, social security and such funded by tax dollars in part.


They are not perfect by a long shot but at least they are trying to help the poor

Why do you hate those liberals who are at least trying to do what Jesus asked of them.

I don't hate Jesus, I just see him as a historical figure and not God's son... What I do hate is Christians who do not accept people who are not christians and go around trying to exterminate or convert them. ex. The crusades, Jews for Jesus... And if Jesus knew of the atrocities commited in his name he would be apalled. By the way I'm opposed to organized religon in general because it's the root of all the worlds problems.

Try actually reading and following His teachings. By today's standards He is about as Liberal as you can get.

That's the key here. Liberals don't hate your religion, they just don't want you telling us what to believe. It has nothing to do with Jesus and everything to do with Freedom of Religion.

Think about this. What if your religion wasn't the most popular one. What if the people in charge were Wiccans and dictated that you had to pray to the great tree god every morning?

Well it's a fictional character for one. I can't hate something that didn't exist. As for why am I adverse to religion, because you should be able to form your own opinion. Mine is a cross between a breif history of time and origin of species. Either I'm wrong or right there can only be two scenarios. We are either sun people or created by a maker. I find it hard to believe that there is a maker that can control the universe thank you.
