You're very petite and probably have a small frame. If you feel that 102 lbs is underweight, bulk up a little by adding muscle to your body. Muscle weighs more than fat does. However, you're probably fine the way you are!

A lot of girls are into the real skinny thing but I think that you are too small for your height, if you look in the mirror you should not be able to see the "pelvic" bone or the "rib cage" through your skin. Guys like petite but I don't think they mean anorexia. They mean like Halle Berry or Beyonce not the ones you see that look sick. I am not calling you names or making fun I really think it's sad that when you look in the magazines people find it appealing that the superstars are walking around looking like crack fiends. If it is a hereditary thing and you cannot help your size then there's nothing you can do about it, but if you are just basically starving yourself to be super skinny then don't. I heard a girl at the water park the other day say she is on a soup diet and she hasn't ate all day. Well it was about 3pm and I thought she was the stupidest" (LOL) person that I had ever seen. You could actually see her bone structure through her skin. Made me want to throw up!! I worked with a lady once and she kept calling her daughter fat. Her daughter started to starve herself. One day she went into cardiac arrest and now she is severly brain damaged. Her mom has to take care of her 24 hours a day. Her body organs were not getting the proper nutrients they needed to function and they shut down on her. I am 33 with two children. I am 5'1 and 128 lbs. Everywhere I go I turn heads because I work out and eat right. And no one wants to be a walking skeleton. Just be careful because it's not cute to have eating disorders.............

There is not a simple answer to this question. Are you healthy? How did you achieve this weight? It sounds like a very low weight. Did you get there by dieting, or is this the weight you are normally? There are some very unhealthy ways to weigh so little. A twenty-one year old is a woman, not a girl. Sometimes people lose their ablilty to have a normal period when they are on a severe diet. Also--who are you trying to please? Our society has a screwed up standard of beauty. If you are comfortable in your own skin, you should not have to please anybody else. Being confident in yourself and loving yourself is the main thing. I hope this helps. God bless you!

Sounds a bit thin. If you look up 'height weight' online you'll find all kinds of sites that will tell you what the ideal weight range is for your height.

My best girlfriend is 5'2" (or just under), and her ideal weight is around 125 or just above. She's at 135 now and looks good.

yeah your a 00 or a 0 right? thats what my xgf used to weigh in that bracket. 100 - 108. Thats perfectly fine and keep working out! Don't starve yourself now and it is unhealthy to be too skinny so don't go under 95 thats not good. Take Care

The average for a 5'2" girl is about 110 pounds, so you're a little underweight. Not too much though. You probably just have a high metabolism.

I'm 5'2", and I weighed, at my lowest, 105. Everyone said I looked great, but they also told me NOT to lose anymore or I would look anorexic. Are you tired alot of the time? If you are, I would suggest that you put on a few pounds. That will really help.

a good guideline is 100 lbs for the first 5 feet and 5 lbs for every inch over that. you're probably a little underweight but if you're healthy it should be ok.
