The Exorcist was the first real scary movie for me. Still terrified of that movie.

The first one I saw was Nightmare on Elm Street. I was so young and it scared me so much, that I didn't want to go to sleep for weeks! Soon after, I saw Hellraiser. For some reason, that didn't scare me. I guess because I figured, if I saw a box like that I just wouldn't open it, but you can't get away from Freddy because everyone has to sleep!

Pet Sematary by Stephen King, closely followed by Sphere by Michael Crichton....the suspense scared the hell out of me...the story had more twists than a Jamaicans dreadlocks...

The first one I remember seeing was Silence of the Lambs...I think I was about ten when I first saw it, whenever it came out for rent.
